Portugal's squad for Euro 2024 has been announced, with Roberto Martinez selecting the charges he hopes will fire the nation to glory this summer.
Portugal have been drawn in Group F alongside Czechia, Türkiye and Georgia. They will begin their campaign against Czechia on June 14, before facing Türkiye on June 18 and Georgia on June 22.
Portugal have a strong record in the European Championship, having won the tournament in 2016 and finished runners-up in 2004. They have also reached the semi-finals on three occasions.
Martinez will be hoping to lead Portugal to their second European Championship title in three years. The Spaniard has a wealth of experience at international level, having previously managed Belgium to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
Portugal will be one of the favorites to win Euro 2024. They have a talented squad, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, and they will be playing in front of their home fans.
